Birth...
A wonder...
A miracle...
Such promise and hope.

It leads me to wonder...

What is it that God is conceiving...
Even birthing...
In and through us...
Yes even us...
Today? 

What dreams...
What desires...
What yearnings...


What has God Himself conceived in us...
That through much labor...
We might bring into this world?

How will the very Life of Christ Himself will be...
Conceived...
Maybe even birthed...

Through us this very day?
 

Will it be...
Love
Goodness
Courage
Joy
Mercy
Peace
Kindness......

I wonder........

Father in Heaven,

We pray that today the very Life of Christ

 That You have conceived in us

by Your Holy Spirit

is given birth....

Through us.

Amen

"Flesh gives birth to flesh, 

But 

Spirit gives birth to spirit."

Hello Friends.... I'm Back......At least for Today

Today...
I love that word...
I love today...
I love the hope of a fresh start...
I love knowing that whatever I regret from yesterday...
Well... its over...
It's done with...

Oh I know... 
I still have to live with some of the garbage of yesterday.

The scales condemned me this morning...
For the chocolate cake from yesterday...

But still...
Today is a new day...
I can do better...
More than that...

I can be better.

In this moment...
Right now...
Today...
I can...
Choose Life.

Hebrews 3:13

But encourage one another daily, 

as long as it is called “Today,” 

so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 

Heavenly Father

Thank You for today.

Thank You for the hope for being better.

Thank You for Love and Life

Can you feel it?

Time…

The old year…

Slipping, ebbing, flowing…

Almost…

Gone.

Oops- There goes another second…

Dang… I missed it.

Father in Heaven

Alive… Connected… Over whelmed...

What Do You Hunger For?

Matthew 5:6

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they will be filled.

There are very few times in my life

When I experience…

Fullness.

Most of the time

(Though not always)

There is that sense of…

Okay… What’s Next?

Or...

That was great...

So how could I have even more?

What about you?

What do you hunger and thirst for?
What do you... Crave?

Might it be more and greater…

Admiration or Approval
Fame or Friendship

Comfort or Cash
Position or Power
Love or Laughter...

 Hell, maybe you just want that someone would give a damn. 

Righteousness.

You know things really aren’t right in this world…

Not here... Not now... Not yet.

I have even heard it’s under a curse…

Something called…

Sin.

Ahhh…

But here is the beauty and hope of the Gospel…

There is a time coming…

A time in the already…

But not quite yet…

Where everything…

Yes… Everything

Will be made…

Right.

Oh Father God,

To be filled…

To know and experience Your Life in me…

To be consumed by Your Spirit of Life…

In all ways

All the time

Everywhere…

This is the hunger and thirst for Righteousness.

Give me this my Lord…

                                                     So that I may be filled indeed.

That led someone to…

Buck up

Shut up

Give up

Or

Man up?

What about those times you smiled at someone and…

The smile was returned?

What about the times you were harsh with someone and …

Were met with anger?

Have you ever…

Embarrassed someone?

Really…

No power at all?

Meekness

The ability to control my…

Power.

Never forget…

The most powerful being to ever

Walk the face of this earth was...

Meek.

Lord Jesus

Thank You for the Life and Power You have

Poured into us.

Thank You for Your Spirit in us.

Now Lord I pray Your Life be lived out

Meekness.
